My name is Eric Perkinson. I am on Georgia death row. I am 23 years old. I only hope to have a friend in my life. There is so much I have been through in my life. Sometimes you look for hope to come your way in life, and someone to be there for you. It is only yourself who can make things better in your life. I know the feeling of pain and hurt because there is not a day that goes by that I don’t hurt deep down inside my heart. I still sit here and only darkness in my life and I am hoping for some light from anyone that may read this.

I am thankful for the little things in my life, just being able to get up and see another day, having someone in y life so I can say I have a friend that really cares about me. It is hard being here and not receive any mail. At times I feel like there’s not much to live for, but I know one day a change will come to my life and that is with the help from a true friend that is going to be here by my side.
